Black History Youth Awards Dinner

Celebrating the achievement of black youths promoting and celebrating positive role models.

Black History Youth Awards Dinner

Black History Youth Awards Dinner celebrates the achievement of black youths promoting and celebrating positive role models within and outside the community and aims to address young people’s specific needs. This black-tie event honoured the successes rather than focusing on the negative stories and images portrayed in the media. The African adage “it takes a village to raise a child” is the ethos behind this initiative.
